About Learn Fresh
Learn Fresh is a transformative nonprofit that empowers educators with innovative STEM and social-emotional learning experiences built around sports and entertainment. Learn Fresh programs focus on achieving equitable representation across the STEM pipeline for girls, students of color, and those living in low-income communities. Students who engage in Learn Fresh programs discover a new way of learning that is fun, highly engaging, and results in academic and social-emotional growth. To date, our programming has engaged over 550,000 students across the US and beyond. Learn Fresh programs include NBA Math Hoops, MLB Players STEM League, STEM Goals, and the Fellowship for Culturally Inclusive Education.
About the Role
As Regional Outreach Coordinator, you will research and engage with new and returning educators in your market for all Learn Fresh programs. This role works in tandem with our Chief Program Officer and Manager of Outreach & Recruitment. Learn Fresh community initiatives, like NBA Math Hoops and MLB Players STEM League, have engaged 700,000+ students in cities from coast to coast - New York, Milwaukee, San Antonio, and San Francisco to name a few.
Research and outreach to new educators, schools and program sites in focus markets to invite them to training opportunities for Learn Fresh programs
Communicate with returning educators to encourage training registration for a new season
Target local and state conferences for Learn Fresh to be present at
Assist the Learn Fresh team at local and state conferences to promote Learn Fresh programs
Support the Chief Program Officer and Manager of Program Outreach & Recruitment with educator communication leading up to all program trainings
Assist the Learn Fresh Program Team in curating the educator experience from their first interaction with Learn Fresh, ensuring a positive and well-supported experience
Work alongside the Learn Fresh Program Team in reaching targeted participation numbers in each market
Ability to travel to local/state/national conference
A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Extraordinarily timely and persistent communicator
Clear, concise, and accurate writer
Must be able to structure time independently and self-motivate to complete tasks
Must be able to communicate effectively and succinctly over phone and email
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is necessary
Ability to think creatively while following established structures
Team-player who can also work independently
Salary and Benefits
Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
Salary is variable based upon experience.
